Normally have the breakfast at the Premier inn or the Spoons but thought I would try this place and OMG what an amazing breakfast. Every item was cooked perfectly and all quality items. From now on whenever I stop in Wellingborough I will be coming here as its so good. It has an upstairs area as well as a large outdoor area. Highly recommended. Look forward to returning in the future. I have added lots of Google Streetview 360 degree photographs so you can have a look around.

Ugly Mug is a fantastic cafe with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The food and desserts are absolutely delicious, and I’ve been there several times without ever being disappointed. One time, my friend and I didn’t realize it was already closing time, but a very kind staff member let us finish our treats and coffee without any issue. Highly recommend this place

Stopped by Ugly Mug for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch. I had the beef tacos, and they were a burst of flavor in each bite. My wife went for the sourdough baguette with chicken, which she couldn't stop raving about. We also shared a side of garlic and Marmite fries that were absolutely addictive. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service we received. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Well done, Ugly Mug, you've gained some new regulars!

Absolute gem of a place. Really friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and wonderful food. From start to finish the experience was exemplary, greeted when you walk in, food was delicious, decor was upmarket. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice peaceful sit down whether that's for coffee or food.

This is a lovely little oasis which has a relaxing restful ambience. The food, which is of excellent quality, is presented restaurant style and is served by friendly staff. I had the avocado on toast. Goodness me. So tasty! Their coffee is also of excellent quality! They have a seated area out back to enjoy those sunny days. I definitely recommend this gem a place.

Visited at Friday lunchtime. It was busy both outside & inside. We sat upstairs in quite a big group (8 or so of us). Staff were efficient, relatively quick service, hot food, ice cold drinks, everything fresh, present and correct. Cannot fault it. Unfortunately the card machine was playing up but was fixed before we left so we paid at the end instead. Brilliant place. Will be back again. Also. The sweet display looked immense, although I didn’t try any this time
